Too many people have written with problems opening older Photoshop files with CS2
Mac users have complained high and loud about this since CS came out.
With OS X Tiger we got a whole new wave of inquiries about the same thing.
If a docked app won't highlight and open your document there is a way to force it to open. Be careful with this technique -- sometimes the file you're opening shouldn't be opened in that app.
For example, let's say you created a PSD file in Photoshop 5.5, way back in the dark ages.
If you drag that document to the Photoshop CS2 icon in your Dock, chances are it won't highlight.
When something like that happens, just hold Command-Option, then drag the document's icon to the Photoshop icon in the Dock, and it should open.
If not, then you'll have to navigate to it in Bridge, or the Open dialog and open from within Photoshop.
